Juventus Manager Allegri Reveals What Cristiano Ronaldo Brings To His Team Spellsmedia.com

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has showered encomiums on Cristiano Ronaldo for raising the standard at the Allianz Arena.

The Portuguese forward joined the Old Lady after Russia 2018 in a mega deal and has scored four goals in eight Italian topflight matches.

They are yet to drop any point this season after winning all ten matches so far in all competitions – leading in the Italian Serie A with six points.

“Cristiano is very calm and is working well,” the Bianconeri boss said. “He’s been very humble and has brought even more focus and a sense of responsibility to the team.

Besides scoring goals, which he does best, he’s also great at providing assists.

Allegri’s men will be hoping to maintain their 100% win record as they battle 11th-placed Genoa at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Argentina attacker Paulo Dybala is doubtful for the clash after picking up a knee problem while on international duty with his country.

Brazil forward, Douglas Costa is available for the clash following his recuperation from ankle and thigh injuries.

Allegri warned his players against buying into the hype that surrounds their current run.

Everyone says we will win all of the league and Champions League matches from here to June, but it’s not like that,” he said.

Allegri confirmed Giorgio Chiellini will be rested for the Genoa clash, while Sami Khedira is expected to return from a thigh issue in the Champions League trip to Manchester United on Tuesday.

Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Bemardeschi ensured the Serie A giants claimed their 21st away win in the Italian league.

As early as the seventh minute Ronaldo’s effort was cleared off the line after a pouncing on a flick from Mario Mandzukic.
